Our Story

Since its establishment in 2013, the Agency for Peace and Inclusive Development (APID) has grown from a locally rooted organization into a regionally connected resilience organization working across Kenya, Somalia, and Ethiopia.

Our journey has been driven by a simple belief that lasting development is achieved when communities lead their own transformation.

Today, APID works at the intersection of humanitarian action, development, and peacebuilding, delivering integrated solutions that strengthen resilience, foster social cohesion, and create sustainable livelihoods in fragile, hard-to-reach, and cross-border settings.
