Working Together for Greater Impact
Kenya's lead government agency for drought risk management and resilience. Through a strategic Memorandum of Understanding, NDMA and APID collaborate on drought risk reduction, climate change adaptation, resilience building, early warning systems, anticipatory action, research and knowledge management, community land rights, and sustainable livelihoods across six ASAL counties, supported by a Joint Implementation Committee for coordinated programme delivery.
