APID’s Peacebuilding, Social Cohesion & Inclusive Governance work focuses on strengthening peaceful coexistence, promoting dialogue, and empowering communities to actively participate in decisions that shape their future. Through community engagement, conflict-sensitive programming, and inclusive participation, APID works with local leaders, women, youth, and vulnerable groups to address the root causes of conflict, reduce tensions, and build trust among diverse communities. The organization promotes peaceful conflict resolution, social inclusion, and collaborative approaches that strengthen resilience in fragile and underserved regions across Kenya, Somalia, and Ethiopia.
